My week

This week felt like it went by really quick. Last Thursday, in my scenic design class, we were assigned plays and were supposed to read them for Tuesday and then draw a stage design for the set by Thursday. The play I got was MacBeth and I was pshh like no way am I reading that again, so I just used sparknotes and to remind myself what happens. I already read it once in high school and I didn't really want to read it again(without sparknotes of course). And then in my women's studies class we had a small quiz and a quest speaker. He was very interesting. He was this gay guy who told us that he spent over $30,000 and 17 years trying to make himself straight and then ended up realizing he was gay anyways. I feel like that's too much time and money to realize something you already knew.

this week 2/7

This week was pretty annoying for me. I was sick for most of the week and it has been extremely cold which sucks. This week in class, however, wasn't too bad. In my scenic design class, we built mini-models out of cardboard based on images from magazines. I made a mini kitchen that is about 3 inches high and about 16 sq inches. I still need to add details but I'll upload a picture once Im done. Also this week, I learned a couple of new verbs in Italian. The one that really caught my attention was baciarsi- which means to kiss. A form of this verb is bacci which sounds exactly like bocce as in bocce ball. So I guess bocce ball means kiss balls, as in touching, but its kind of funny if you think of it the other way.

This Week

This week had a very slow start but now seems like it was over quick. Wednesday was Groundhog Day but I didn't realize that until this morning when I checked the date and saw it was the 4th. SPRING IS NEAR!!!! And I'm really bummed that I forgot to celebrate the holiday. In other news (that is more relative to my blog),  my women's studies class got cancelled Wednesday night because of the ice. What's sweet about that is the fact that all the ice was gone hours before the class even started! Nothing else was too exciting this week but I did get a 90 on my Italian exam.  Molto bene! Hopefully next week is more exciting, later.
